This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by FCC Fast Close Combat, a French société par actions simplifiée registered at the Mâcon trade and companies register under number 895 377 190, with its registered office at 21 Boulevard des Neuf Clés, 71850 Charnay-lès-Mâcon, France ("FCC Company", "we", "us", or "our"). It is directed to you, the user of our Services ("you" or "User").

FCC Fast Close Combat is a French video game company and is not affiliated with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.

This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect your personal data in connection with our video game eFCC and related services, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - "GDPR") and French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (Loi Informatique et Libertés).

1.2 Scope of Application

This Policy applies to all personal data processing activities carried out by FCC Company as data controller in connection with:

  • (a) The eFCC first-person shooter video game, including all game modes, updates, and patches;
  • (b) Our official website at e-fcc.com and its sub-domains;
  • (c) The eFCC game launcher and anti-cheat software;
  • (d) Our matchmaking and ranking services;
  • (e) In-game store, game store and transaction processing.

Collectively referred to as the "Services".

1.3 Third-Party Services

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or platforms linked to or accessible through the Services. We are not responsible for third-party data processing practices.

1.4 Acceptance

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.


2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We apply data minimization principles and only collect data necessary for the specified purposes.

2.1 Account and Registration Data

When you create an account, we collect:

  • - Username/eFCC ID

When you use the Services, we automatically collect:

2.3 Ranked Play Verification Data

For users purchasing access to ranked competitive modes only:

We use a certified third-party provider to verify your identity. We do NOT store your identity documents or readable personal information. We store only:

  • - A cryptographic hash (irreversible digital fingerprint) derived from your verified identity
  • - Verification date and status
  • - Provider reference number

This hash ensures one account per person in paid ranked play and enforces permanent bans (as defined in Section 6). The third-party provider processes your actual identity data according to their privacy policy and data processing agreement with us.

2.4 Communications Data

We collect:

  • - Text chat communications (for moderation purposes)
  • - Customer support correspondence
  • - Forum posts and user-generated content
  • - Player reports and related investigation data

Our anti-cheat system uses automated detection to identify and ban cheating behavior. These decisions may be made without human intervention. You have the right to:

Anti-cheat decisions are based on gameplay pattern analysis, player reporting, software detection, and statistical anomaly detection. Details of specific detection methods are not disclosed to maintain system integrity.


4. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

4.1 We may share data with:

  • - Service Providers: Acting as data processors under contract (hosting, payment processing, identity verification, customer support)
  • - Legal Authorities: When required by law or valid legal process
  • - Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • - Other Players: Limited data visible in-game (username, statistics, public profile)

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY AND AGE OF CONSENT

8.1 Age Restriction

The Services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8.2 Eligibility and Parental Consent

To create an account and agree to this Policy, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your country).

Alternatively, users between the age of 13 and the age of legal majority ("Minors") may create an account only if they attest that their parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to this Policy and our Terms of Service on their behalf

In accordance with the GDPR, the age of digital consent (the age at which a user can consent to data processing) varies by country (e.g., 15 in France, 16 by default). For Minors under this age, the parent/guardian's agreement constitutes verifiable parental consent for our data processing.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

9.1 Data Breach

In case of a data breach likely to result in high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you in accordance with GDPR requirements.


10. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be notified via email or Service notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.


11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy and any disputes arising out of or related to our data processing activities shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

For business users, you agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to this Policy shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Mâcon, France.

For consumers residing in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Furthermore, you may bring proceedings either in the courts of Mâcon, France, or in the courts of the EU Member State in which you are domiciled. This does not affect your mandatory statutory rights to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority."


12. MISCELLANEOUS

12.1 Severability

If any provision of this Policy is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12.2 Language

This Policy may be translated into other languages. In case of conflict, the French version shall prevail.
